Who We Are

  • Kelly Coleman is the College Ministry Director of Hays County Young Life. Kelly attends all Young Life College events, disciples college students, and trains up our Student Staff Leaders alongside our College Staff Associate, Baylor Keeper.

  • Baylor Keeper is Hays County Young Life’s College Staff Associate. Baylor walks alongside college students semester in and out, attends all Young Life College events and camp trips, and assists in training our Student Staff Leaders alongside Kelly Coleman.

  • Our Student Staff program is a part-time leadership development opportunity offered to seasoned Young Life Leaders.

  • Our college Young Life Leaders are college-aged peers who volunteer their time to pursue and engage meaningful relationships with other students.

    From weekly club nights together to pickup basketball during the week, our Leaders dedicate time to invest in the lives of their fellow students and foster deep community.

    Seasoned Young Life Leaders have opportunities to engage in several leadership development programs here in Hays County: Student Staff, Mission Staff, and the NextGen Leader Program.

What We Do

  • Texas State Young Life meets at 7:01 PM at Lion’s Club in San Marcos most Wednesday evenings of the school year. Events range from Trivia Night to volleyball tournaments to worship nights - come join us!

  • Texas State Young Life offers two camp trip opportunities - a weekend Fall Retreat during the school year, and a week-long camp trip for Spring Break.
